Hawk Nest

There are a pair of Hawks nesting in one of our Pecan trees!  I got some pictures yesterday!  I think it is a red shouldered hawk!

The Hawk is singing its song!  At the end you

can hear one of my daycare toddlers blowing a 

whistle.  The Hawk would chirp right back!

Rock Garden

Oliver's old rain boots, some turtles, and some whimsical metal stake things 

make up our slowly growing stash for our dream rock garden that we

hope to make some day near the shed and lemon trees.  I have a pretty

sun wind chime, but I'm keeping it inside and fresh until our dream comes true!

Its fun coming up with ideas for our yard!

Sunflowers

Lots of rogue sunflowers still growing tall and strong in our yard!

Starters

The toddlers helped me fill these starter pots with soil yesterday and today I put seeds in them.  Hopefully they grow and we can replenish the winter garden!
